So today is day 5 of learning python for me. I've found this excellent tutorial and now I've reached the datastructures section. It turns out python has filter, map and reduce as top-level functions which will end up being quite useful for cloud DB programming. That has got me thinking about the tie-in between python, cloud db, and the google app engine.
